THE BUSINESS
Baleigh is the stylist, face and founder of Baleigh Kerr Hair & Makeup, which is based in Fort Worth, Texas! She has been working in the industry for eight years and launched her own thriving bridal business a little over three years ago. Baleigh is a licensed hair stylist and certified makeup artist who absolutely loves creating romantic, effortless, undone styles and soft but glamorous makeup look's. In her own words, "I don't think I will get tired of being a part of someones 'best day ever'!"
THE ARTIST
When Baleigh was old enough to start wearing makeup, her mom took her to the MAC Cosmetics store in the mall and she was instantly in love. From then on she knew she wanted to be a makeup artist. However she didn't get started professionally until she was 20. After cosmetology school and briefly working in the salon world, Baleigh knew she needed a different path. Later, Baleigh got hired as a permanent artist for MAC Cosmetics and began teaching herself up-styling. She never planned to work with brides full time, but when the opportunity arose, she realized it was her true calling and says that "making other women feel beautiful is the number one perk!"
Baleigh knows that doing your own hair and makeup for a big event can be super intimidating, so she provides the perfect solution. Working together with her brides, Baleigh is dedicated to creating a timeless, photo-ready hair and makeup look that will last through your most important day!
Are you solo or with a team of artists?
"I am a independent artist but have a wonderful list of contractors that I hire for larger parties."
What type of clientele do you serve?
"I make sure my contractors and I are well rounded makeup artist's and hairstylist's so that we can serve all types of clientele!"
What is your signature style?
"My signature style would have to be soft, romantic hair styles and naturally enhanced makeup applications!"
Do you travel?
"I am based out of Fort Worth but I travel to wherever I am needed!"
What types of products do you prefer?
"I work with many different brands, but I will always be a MAC girl! MAC Cosmetics was originally created for photo and film, it truly looks fabulous on every skin type, texture and color."
