I've been working on something big and it's finally time to let you all in on it! Many of you know that I've been second shooting at weddings and in 2018 I will start photographing weddings myself. In fact, I've already had inquiry's and started booking MP Brides and Grooms! I am so grateful to everyone who has been supportive of this!
Now, for the past month or two I've been hinting, on social media, about this huge project I'm working on. It's finally completed so I can tell you that last week I hosted a huge styled shoot, with 10 other vendors, beside myself!
If you don't know what a styled shoot is, just consider it a faux wedding. We had models, photographers, a venue, a florist, a hair and makeup artist, a calligraphist, a cake artist and a bridal boutique all working together to create the most beautiful Masquerade Themed Wedding.
Now you might be asking two questions. First,"Why would you want to create a fake wedding" and "How does this apply to me, if my wedding is not currently scheduled".
Well let me explain! I want to serve my clients to the very best of my ability! Because I will be offering wedding photography to my clients, I knew I would also become a source of referral for brides who need a talented makeup artist, or grooms who need a reliable place to rent suits. I decided to put together a team of remarkable vendors to whom I can refer when my clients need their services. This styled shoot allowed me to be in the place of my brides and grooms and work with these vendors, to ensure that they are the very best! After working with them, I feel confident referring my dear brides and grooms to this skilled team of MP Vendors.
But wait! Even if you area already married, or don't have plans to be married at this time, you may still benefit from this! I have plenty of clients who would rather entrust their makeup to a professional, before having photos done, or who want to include fresh flowers in their session. I have clients who want hand-lettered pieces for graduation announcements, or beautiful cakes for Cake Smash celebrations. I also know plenty men who don't own tuxes and find themselves needing to rent one for this event or that.
And even if I don't know all the people who are in need, you might! So let you introduce you to my MP Vendor Team! They're the wonderful people who made all the beauty happen in these images:
Event Center: The Castle at Rockwall | Hair & Makeup Artist: Anastasia Strattan | Cake Design: Sweet RiCreations | Floral Designs: Kim's Creations Flowers | Bridal Boutique: Providence Place Bridal | Calligraphy: Lonestar Lettering
This Beautiful Event was featured on Strictly Weddings, and I am so excited to share it all with you! Be sure to check out the post on their website!
